Follow these 3 steps for best results with Moss Killer:

Pre-Treatment & Application:
The best form of treatment is to dilute with 4 parts water to 1 part Moss Killer. Then apply with a watering can, hand sprayer or back pack sprayer for larger areas. It is important to liberally apply the diluted Moss Remover for it to be effective. A good trick to get the diluted Moss Remover to absorb quicker is to wet the area you wish to remove the Moss from first, this makes the algae or moss more porous.
Once the Moss Killer has been applied let nature take its course. After a few days you should notice the moss turning brown and dying off. If doing a roof after a period of 4-6 weeks the moss will not only die off but also fall from the roof naturally.
For extremely bad paved areas and instant results you can use Conclean on concrete or brick driveways but not on roofs or Tarmacadam. For more information on how you can effectively clean your driveway or patio please read our detailed blog post.

Sealing and Coating:
Once you have cleared the moss completely from the ground. It would be good to consider coating the area with Sealer N. This product is ideal for all masonry finishes and will restrict moss growing back as the spores cannot penetrate into the concrete. Making Moss removal much easier as the Moss struggles to penetrate deep into concrete, brickwork, granite etc.

Aftercare:
Once the Moss has been removed whether the roof or ground has been sealed or not. It is better to take the preventive method for Moss Removal going forward. This usually involves sweeping down once a week of pathways, drives and patios.  Then every 4-6 weeks mix a solution up of  Moss Remover at 10 parts water to 1 part Moss Remover and you won't get a build up again.
